A Martial Arts Warrior Journey Through Life

Growing up I had watched a lot of Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Steven Seagal martial arts movies and like most kids who find an interest in something or someone, I wanted to be just like those guys.  There was only one thing, I was a 10 year old fat kid whose parent’s thought I would not last due obvious reasons and because I had lost interest in just about every hobby at that age.
After some coaxing, my dad agreed to let me try it out and I started training at Stuart Quan’s Karate.  I was anxious to start and after my first class I found my passion for martial arts.  I was eager to learn, training 3-4x a week, and on the journey of becoming a warrior.
